  • Anyone can play practice without an account. You must be 18 or over to create an account or join a tournament.
  • Practice naira and demo prizes are not money. They have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn.
  • Paid features are not available yet. If they launch, they will have their own terms.
  • Play fair: one account per person, no bots or AI answer lookup in tournaments, and no sharing answers during live rounds.
  • Team quiz organisers are responsible for their questions and for how they use staff results.
  • An advertising enquiry is not a booking until we confirm it.
  • Brainmoni is an independent game and is not affiliated with any television programme.
  • Nigerian law governs these terms.

Who we are

Brainmoni, at brainmoni.com, is operated by Kerux8 (“we” and “us”). These terms are an agreement between you and Kerux8 about your use of Brainmoni. The game rules form part of these terms. Our privacy notice explains how we handle personal data.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use Brainmoni.

Who can play

  • Free practice, today’s show and friend challenges are open to everyone and need no account.
  • You must be 18 or over to create an account, join a tournament or create a team quiz. By creating an account, you confirm that you are.
  • If we believe an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it.

Your account

  • You sign in with a code sent to your email. Keep your email account secure, because anyone who can read your email can sign in as you.
  • One account per person. Do not share, sell or transfer your account.
  • Tell us at contact@kerux8.com if you think someone else has used your account.
  • You can ask us to close your account at any time by email.

Usernames and conduct

  • Your username is public. It appears on tournament standings and on friend challenge links you share while signed in.
  • Usernames are 3 to 20 letters, numbers or underscores, starting with a letter. You cannot change yours once chosen, so email us if you need to.
  • Do not choose a username that impersonates someone, suggests you work for Brainmoni or Kerux8, includes someone else’s personal details, or is offensive, hateful, sexual or misleading.
  • Do not use Brainmoni to harass anyone, to break the law, or to post content you do not have the right to use.
  • Do not try to break, overload or scrape Brainmoni, get around its security, or reach accounts, admin areas or answers you are not meant to see.
  • We may change or remove a username, or remove content, that breaks these terms.

Practice naira and demo prizes

  • The naira amounts on the practice ladder are practice naira. They are a score, not money.
  • Practice naira have no cash value. They cannot be withdrawn, exchanged, transferred or redeemed for anything.
  • Free tournaments are previews. Their prize pools and awards are demo amounts only. No money is credited to you or paid out.
  • Practice records and streaks are stored on your device. If you clear your browser data or change device, they are gone and we cannot restore them.

Tournaments

  • Free tournaments follow the game rules. Join before the start, because late entry is closed. Each preview round takes up to 500 players.
  • Our server’s clock sets every deadline. A one-second delivery grace window follows each deadline; answers received after that window do not count.
  • Standings become final after the last delivery grace window closes, unless we remove a player for breaking the fair play rules.
  • We may cancel or reschedule a round, for example after a technical fault, a problem with a question or a fair-play concern.

Paid features

  • Paid features, such as paid tournaments, are not available yet. Nothing on Brainmoni today asks you to pay or offers cash prizes.
  • If we launch paid features, they will come with their own terms, which you will need to accept before you pay. They may only be available to some players or in some locations.

Fair play

  • One account per person. Extra accounts, including ones made with email aliases, are not allowed.
  • No bots, scripts or other automated tools to join rounds or answer questions.
  • During tournaments, no looking up answers with AI tools, search engines, other people or any other source.
  • No collusion. Do not share answers or work with other players during a live round.
  • Do not exploit bugs. If you find one, tell us.
  • We may review tournament activity, including answer timing, to check for unfair play.
  • If you break these rules, we may remove you from standings, withhold demo awards, and suspend or close your account.

Team quizzes

  • Signed-in users can create private quizzes for their staff and share them by invite link.
  • If you organise a quiz, you are responsible for the questions and answers you write. They must be lawful, not offensive, accurate as far as you know, and yours to use.
  • You are responsible for telling your staff how their results will be used, and for using results lawfully, including under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
  • Staff type in their own names and we do not check who took a quiz, so results are not an identity-verified assessment.
  • Do not use team quizzes to charge entry fees, run betting or offer cash prizes.
  • If you take a team quiz, use your own name.
  • We may remove a team quiz that breaks these terms.

Advertising

  • Sending an advertising enquiry is not a booking, and no payment is taken through the form.
  • Prices shown are draft rates and may change. A campaign is booked only when we confirm it in writing and agree the details, including dates, placement, creative and payment.
  • We review every campaign and may decline any enquiry or creative.
  • We do not guarantee audience numbers, clicks or sales.
  • Advertisers are responsible for making sure their ads and links are accurate, lawful and follow the advertising rules that apply in Nigeria.

Intellectual property

  • The Brainmoni name, logo, design, questions, game and other content belong to Kerux8 or to the people who license them to us.
  • You may play Brainmoni and share links to it. Do not copy, scrape or republish our questions, or use our name or logo, without our written permission.
  • You keep ownership of content you submit, such as team quiz questions or ad creative. You give Kerux8 permission to host, display and process it so we can run the feature you used.
  • Brainmoni is an independent game. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any television programme or its owners.

Availability and changes

  • We work to keep Brainmoni running, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of errors.
  • We may change, pause or stop any feature, including practice, today’s show and tournaments.
  • We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you on the site before they take effect. If you keep using Brainmoni after a change, the new terms apply.

Our responsibility to you

  • Brainmoni is free, and we provide it as it is, without promises beyond those in these terms.
  • We are not responsible for losses we could not reasonably have foreseen, or for lost practice records, streaks, tournament positions or demo awards caused by outages, connection problems or errors.
  • Where we are responsible, our liability is limited to direct losses that were a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our negligence.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Nothing in these terms affects your rights under Nigerian consumer protection law, including the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018.

Ending your use

  • You can stop using Brainmoni at any time and ask us to close your account.
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or where the law requires it. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you why.

Governing law and disputes

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
  • If you have a complaint, email us first and we will try to resolve it. If we cannot, the courts of Nigeria will decide the dispute.
